Josie Bates Balka is sharing the first official photos of her newborn.
On Wednesday, Dec. 10, the newly minted mom of four, 26, shared snaps of her little one, whom she shares with husband Kelton Balka, on Instagram. Josie’s newborn can be seen swaddled and resting in the bassinet in the new photos. In the caption of the post, the doting mom shared the sex and name of her little one.
“Meet Brooks Hallum Balka, our newest little miracle. 🫶🏻 7lbs 1oz, 19 inches of pure blessing,” she wrote in the caption. “He is the perfect addition to our little family, and our hearts are overflowing. We are so in love with you, Sweet boy! 🩵🪽✨.”
In another post, Josie shared her mom Kelly Jo Bates’ reaction to meeting her new grandson and finding out that the couple included a sweet nod to her grandfather in the newborn’s middle name. Upon hearing the newborn’s middle name, the mom of 19 screamed in excitement, adding that her grandfather would cry knowing the newborn was connected to him.
Josie first shared the exciting news on Instagram that she had welcomed her fourth baby. In the initial post, she shared the first glimpse of her little one with a series of pictures from the newborn’s first few moments earthside.
“Our sweet baby is here 🥹🫶🏻,” she wrote in the caption, followed by several hashtags including #familyof6 and #laboranddelivery.
