When Does ‘High Potential’ Return In 2026 With New Episodes?
There’s no shortage of shows to stream on Tuesday night.
ABC has a new episode of Will Trent and the season finale of RJ Decker; NBC is airing pivotal Game 5 of the New York Knicks/Atlanta Hawks first-round playoff series; and CBS is delivering new installments of NCIS, NCIS: Origins, and NCIS: Sydney.

The good news is that ABC’s Kaitlin Olson-led charmer has already been renewed for Season 3. The bad news? The second season finale already aired, so it’s going to be a minute before the next new installment.

Is High Potential New Tonight (April 28)?
Nope. The Season 2 finale of High Potential premiered Tuesday, April 7, on ABC.
New episodes of Will Trent and RJ Decker air tonight from 8:00-10:00 p.m. ET, followed by a rerun of High Potential (Season 2, Episode 15: “Pie In the Sky”) at 10:00 p.m. ET.
Will There Be a Season 3 of High Potential?
You know it! ABC renewed High Potential for a third season in March 2026. It was also revealed that the series would have a new showrunner, with Todd Harthan leaving to work on a live-action adaptation of the YA book series The Inheritance Cycle (currently titled Eragon).
After the events of the season finale, it was also announced that Steve Howey would not be returning as a series regular for Season 3. Deadline reports that Howey could potentially be back as a “guest star at the start of next season to wrap his character’s arc.”
